4:00Now PlayingThe 2026 World Olympic Collectors Fair opens Friday at the Antlers Hotel in Colorado Springs, bringing together roughly 100 collectors from 11 countries to display, buy, sell, and trade Olympic memorabilia spanning more than a century of Games history.
The three-day event, which runs through Sunday and is free and open to the public, features collections ranging from artifacts tied to the first U.S. Olympics in 1904 all the way to items already produced for the upcoming 2028 Los Angeles Games. Last year's fair was held in Prague.
Olympic collector Jim Goddard, who has been collecting since 1984, is among those helping organize the event. His personal collection includes pieces representing all eight Olympic Games held on U.S. soil — among them a gymnastics medal from the 1904 St. Louis Games, memorabilia from the 1980 Lake Placid Winter Games, a ring from the 1932 Los Angeles Olympics, and items featuring Sam the Eagle, the mascot from the 1984 LA Games.
