The 2026 FIFA World Cup will consist of 104 matches across North America this summer, offering the most expansive soccer tournament yet.
The expanded tournament will include games in 11 cities in the United States, three cities in Mexico and two in Canada. It's the first World Cup to be jointly hosted by three countries and the first to feature 48 teams.
The World Cup kicks off Thursday, June 11, as Mexico plays against South Africa at 1 p.m. in Mexico City. South Korea will play against Czechia on Thursday at 8 p.m.
