During the meteor shower's peak Wednesday night into Thursday morning, as many as 50 to 100 meteors per hour may be visible under ideal conditions, according to NASA. The American Meteor Society estimates 30 to 50 meteors per hour could be seen from rural regions.
9NEWS Weather Impact Team said there could be some clouds in northeast Colorado Wednesday night, during the peak viewing, including areas like Denver, Fort Morgan and Greeley. The best viewing should be in the mountains west of Denver and in southern Colorado.
