Fans speculated for days that a concert under the name "Yukon Jack" was actually a top-secret performance from Brooks. Brooks told 9NEWS last month he'd love to perform at the small venue in north Denver where he first performed early in his career in the 1990s.
Fans began buzzing as quick internet search finds no singer or band named Yukon Jack. Brooks' hometown is Yukon, Oklahoma. Brooks also used the Yukon Jack name at a small bar in 1993.
Music fans began lining up outside The Grizzly Rose Thursday morning, hoping for the chance to see Brooks and their dedication was rewarded when he took the stage Thursday night.
Brooks performed such hits as "Friends in Low Places" and "The Dance."
