Sparked by a discussion between James O'Brien and a brexit supporter, I felt the need to discuss this upside-down view of sovereignty that brexiteers seems to have. If sovereignty is about deciding your own laws, then brexit makes us much less sovereign. All countries agree to rules set by other countries, and the UK will have to accept many more, as evidence by the Japan trade deal and the Agriculture Bill for a US tradel deal.
