as posted by the channelThis July, the government will be harvesting your GP medical data. It will be used for care planning, which is fine and I'd be fully in support of that. However, it's also going to be given to private corporations for their own purposes. Against a background of moves towards an American style private health insurance system, where such data is used to deny people insurance, I'd rather they didn't have the data at all. And we can opt out of having it harvested.
