Earlier this week, the pro-Brexit Daily Mail reported on major staffing shortages and was not shy about explaining how the extreme tory brexit had contributed to this. It would have been easy for them to ignore this factor, but they chose not to. Possibly a changing of emphasis from defending brexit to trying to persuade the government to take the edge off it.
