But this is not something the government can easily blame on others and leave alone. So Grant Shapps, the Transport Secretary, has prioritised airport staff for security checks in the hope that this will solve all the problems and get flights moving this summer. However, it completely ignores the root causes of the problem and so will be a short term boost at best.
