But 2023 will see a further fall in living standards, a shrinking of the economy, and a worsening of inflation. But because the rate of inflation will go down, the Tories are bound to try and claim that the cost of living crisis is easing. It won't be true, but people generally believe the con. But with so many people suffering from the crisis, will the fiddle work this time?
