The latest example of brexit misinformation seizes on a comparison of exports to the EU in September 2019 and 2022. There was a real terms increase in the value of exports last September, compared to 2019, not that the brexiteers using inflation adjusted figures. But there are other things they are not mentioning about the data either. There is a reason why, although they all say their data is from the ONS, they never link you to an ONS report.
