One of them is to tell voters that the tough times are over, but that they need to vote Tory one more time to see the fruits of their work. Then, if they win, they immediately put taxes up and cut public services even more. If they lose, they claim that things would have been much better but Labour messed it up. They are using this trick yet again, but it won't work this time. But we must still guard against it working in future.
