as posted by the channelRishi Sunak announced the scrapping of HS2 last year, with the exception of a rail line which doesn't appear to be of any economic value. The cost of pretending that a project still exists in some form is now set to cost an extra £10B in higher inflation costs. But, because we're no longer getting a return on this 'investment', any additional cost is simply extra taxes to absorb. And all as a result of tory incompetence and probably corruption.
