as posted by the channel

The Rwanda Bill has passed the Commons and is now headed to the House of Lords. It's obvious that the Lords will revise the bill to ensure the government complies with international law. It is equally obvious that Sunak will reject those revisions. The question is, what will happen then? It is natural to suppose that the Lords will insist that the government does not set itself above the law, especially with a bill which has no public mandate or cross party support. But there are worrying reasons to suppose that Sunak might get his way.
