as posted by the channelThere are reports poking at the fact number 10 is refusing to rule out a role for the ECJ in a future EU trade deal. A ridiculous line to take because, if we align with EU standards as the government have promised to do, then obviously the ECJ is going to have a role in arbitrating disuputes. However, this is not a price to pay for better trade, it's a benefit in itself. The court exists to protect people from lawbreakers. Who wouldn't want that protection?
