My Australia is a show about people from overseas having Australian experiences. We film people from India and the Asia-Pacific region who are studying or living here.
Each week our guests... will undertake a new activity to find out more about Australian life and come away with a greater understanding of how Australians live, work and play. This is a casual paid job that will involve 3 or 4 days filming over several months.
What are we looking for?
People from the Asia Pacific region who have lived in Australia for less than 3 years -- less is best!
Good English speakers
Extrovert personalities, outgoing, curious, adventurous
Desire to learn and experience more about Australia
Have a legal permit to work in Australia
The series is being produced by the ABC and will be broadcast by Australia Network to 45 countries in the Asia Pacific region.
How to apply:
Make a 1 - 2 minute video, featuring yourself on camera. We want to see your enthusiasm, your ability to communicate and your personality. Show us why you'd be good for our show and convince us the audience would want to watch you.
Video quality is not important you can even use your mobile phone or webcam to video yourself, then upload it on Facebook
We'll post the results on Facebook in February.
