2:37Now PlayingIn a new collaboration between Melbourne fashion label Gorman and the Mangkaja art centre in Fitzroy Crossing, they’ve shown the true mix between traditional and modern art.
With five artists on board they’ve transferred their artwork onto the clothing for a new range of Gorman products, giving the Aboriginal artists more exposure as a piece of the Kimberley goes international.
The partnership has been two years in the making and together they have set a benchmark in licensing agreements, between Indigenous and non-Indigenous groups.
