His purpose-built catamaran, the Granite Express, is made from rubbish that washed up at his bushland home on the river.
Now in his 70s, Malcolm doesn’t let anything hold him back.
Twenty years ago he was diagnosed with inoperable cancer, and it changed his whole approach to life – for the better.
