as posted by the channel

Along the NSW south coast, close to a million hectares of land was burned and almost 2,000 homes were destroyed or damaged during the black summer bushfires. The psychological scars might be harder to see but they run just as deep, especially for young people. Former world champion surfer Pam Burridge is one of a network of surf instructors on the NSW south coast taking part in an innovative program run by the NSW Police Force, in partnership with Surfrider Foundation Australia, to help teenagers overcome the trauma of the bushfires through a connection with the ocean. #surfing #bushfires #wildfire #blacksummer Subscribe ✅ and tap the notification bell 🔔 to be delivered Australian stories every day
