YouTube Description
as posted by the channelThe first time Claire Harris and Kate Strong met, they joked about how fun it would be to line dance their way across Australia.
A few years later, Hoedowns for Country Towns was born. The women have quit their jobs, bought a second-hand four-wheel-drive and set out on a 22,000 kilometre road trip across the country.
They’re the first to admit it’s a slightly wild plan, but it’s all for a good cause: they’ve partnered with charities in each state and territory raising money for rural and remote communities.
Ms Harris and Ms Strong want to share their passion for line dancing, saying it’s an inclusive dance style for anyone can have a go at.
And if you’ve danced the Nutbush or the Macarena then you’re already one step ahead.
