as posted by the channelWe go behind the scenes of Papua New Guinea’s growing ambulance service as the “Green Angels” respond to all kinds of emergencies, including the second wave of COVID.
Their struggle was already difficult – Port Moresby General Hospital often at capacity, 2,000 women dying in childbirth each year, and half that number of people again to snakebite.
So with a field hospital taking pressure off existing services, the staff of St John Ambulance demonstrated a capability to reach their greatest goal – the service in all 22 provinces of PNG.
