as posted by the channelThree Devonport Nannas have been turning heads with their little troupe of 10 rescue dogs they walk with every day. It’s only on approaching close that you notice that their three prams are not for babies but rather, for fur babies. The ladies call themselves Charlie’s Angels, after their favourite and most timid little dog, and make it their job to remind everyone they meet to provide forever homes for rescue dogs.
Christina Darkiewicz describes herself as the girl who can’t say no to taking on another rescue dog. She had eight of her own at one point. With like-minded friends Diane Jordan and Janice Buttery, the load of loving this rag-tag crew is made easier and more fun. Untangling leads is a constant demand, and twice a week they take their ‘troupe’ to an obstacle course, where the main game ends up being "all chase Benny”. Benny, who was found abandoned in a mining town at six months old, has meanwhile taught himself how to jump through the hoops!
