For weary travellers on the Outback Way - in the far north of Western Australia's remote Goldfields region - a stop at the Warakurna Roadhouse has become an absolute must.

Manager Nathanial Rosenberg has made a name for himself as the Outback's very own 'Dad Joke Guy'.

While filling up at the bowser, the friendly 20-year-old will take the opportunity to unleash a barrage of his favourite predictable puns on the unsuspecting public.

Word of Nathaniel's humour has spread to social media, with many travellers actively seeking him out for a giggle during the long and monotonous journey.

"You remember … Ayers Rock, Uluru, Kata Tjuta, all that, but I guess the road here isn't — there's not too many things to be like 'wow'," Nathaniel says.

"So just to make it a little bit more memorable I thought I'd sprinkle a little bit of dad jokes on top, just some razzle-dazzle."

While Nathaniel's gags don't always hit the mark with everyone - even his own family - he says he'll keep the jokes coming as long as someone laughs.

"What would you call Woolworths if it burnt down? Coles."

Yes, cue tumbleweed.
