“Why can’t girls row too?”
It was a simple question asked by a daughter to her father back in the late 1980’s.
Katrina and Michael Rowan arrived in New South Wales from Victoria and to their surprise, they had discovered there were no rowing programs for girls in school, across the entire state.
From there the duo got to work and have since established a lifelong legacy within the sport.
