Now, a major retrospective, Annemieke Mein: A Life's Work, has been mounted at the Gippsland Art Gallery in Sale.
The exhibition features more than 200 textile works by the celebrated Dutch born Gipplsand textile artist, featuring paintings, watercolours, drawing, sculptures, garments and development samples created between the 1960s to 2023.
It's a major regional event, the largest exhibition ever mounted for a local solo artist in the gallery's 60 year history.
