as posted by the channel

Milly Formby became passionate about the amazing lives of migratory waders while she was working as a tapestry weaver.

She learned how far these birds fly without stopping to eat or rest and about the 'air highways' they follow around the globe.

Then one day driving to work, Milly was struck by an idea: she would learn to fly a microlight aircraft and follow the shorebirds' seasonal journey from Australia all the way to Siberia.

Milly built her very own microlight and took off above the Australian shoreline, looking down on whales and getting up close to wedge-tailed eagles.
