It's a common enough story; small towns lose their bank, the service station, the general store, the cafes and often the pub. When the hotel in Bemboka on the far south coast of New South Wales in Australia was struggling to find a buyer, it too looked like it might stay closed for good. In an attempt to revitalise their town, a couple of brave local farmers decided to have a crack at being publicans.

Landline's Adriane Reardon has the story.
