In April, Russian troops retreated from the town of Dymer, Ukraine, just 30 minutes north of Kyiv.

During the Russian occupation, residents were seized — many were held in a factory on the edge of town. Now, nearly a year later, people there say 42 civilians living in the town remain missing.
