The firm makes up one upstart in a burgeoning industry that harnesses AI to draw eyeballs and drive revenue in the lucrative business of social media. By 2035, the so-called “digital human economy” is projected to become a $125 billion market, according to a report from research firm Gartner.
1337, pronounced “leet,” refers to its AI-generated influencers as “entities.” Currently, the company says it operates 50 entities, each designed to appeal to a different audience. The company said it plans to add another 50 to its roster in April, with each will being controlled by their own user via an app.
