ABC partner station KNXV reports Waymo's autonomous vehicle was apparently confused in a traffic circle, going around for eight laps.
Passenger Mike Johns called the company for help and a representative was able to regain control.
Waymo says Johns' ride was delayed by five minutes and he made his flight. The company refunded the cab fare.
