0:53Now PlayingA man has been arrested after he allegedly attempted to snatch a 6-year-old boy from the sidewalk during the Fourth of July weekend in Coney Island, Brooklyn, according to the NYPD.
After the incident, the boy’s parents pinned the man to the ground before police arrived. The man has now been charged with assault and attempted kidnapping and is described as “emotionally disturbed,” the NYPD said.
The boy was not seriously hurt when the man threw him to the ground.
