In Chapter 1 of 3, Anas Bukhash sits with Zahra Lari, an Emirati figure skater and the first figure skater from the United Arab Emirates to compete internationally. Zahra talks about the struggles she faced at a very young age, how wearing a hijab has impacted her international career, the sacrifices her parents have made in supporting her dreams and more. At just 24 years old, she is already a two-time Emirati national champion. Zahra is also the first figure skater to compete in a hijab. Her ultimate goal is to compete in the Olympic Games.
