Motaz Azaiza, Palestinian photojournalist and one of the most powerful humanitarian voices to emerge from Gaza, sits down for a conversation that confronts the human cost of truth. From growing up in the Deir al Balah refugee camp to documenting the war that changed his life and scarred his homeland, Motaz opens up about what it means to survive when death has become ordinary, when Gaza never rests, and when carrying a Palestinian story becomes a weight the world cannot ignore. He reflects on the night he lost fifteen family members, the months he spent reporting under fire, and the guilt of leaving to keep Gaza’s story alive.
