From there the guys listen to another clip of Adam as Mr. Birchum back in the mid 1990s, and they take some fan suggestions for a round of Made Up Movie. Before the break, Gina reads news stories about the Trump Organization, Texas’ new law outlawing abortions, Paul Hogan battling the homeless, the continued Johnny Depp/Amber Heard legal battles, and Kim Kardashian’s purchase of an outfit from a Janet Jackson music video.

Adam welcomes Andrew McCarthy to the podcast for a one-on-one conversation. It begins with talk about Adam’s love of Andrew’s films, and his connection to the Ringwald family in North Hollywood. They also talk about Andrew’s break into show business, his battle with alcoholism, and his time with ‘The Brat Pack’. Along the way they discuss some celebrity encounters, how ‘The Brat Pack’ took on a life of its own, and what happened the night of the ‘Pretty in Pink’ premiere. As the show wraps up, Adam asks Andrew about his love of travel writing, and his transition into working as a director.
