Nelson Mandela died on Dec. 5, 2013. Ten days later, world leaders met at his childhood home in the rural town of Qunu for his burial. Nnenna Nwakanma, a young Nigerian woman, was in Cape Town when he died, and boarded a bus for the 27-hour trip to pay her respects. Her father, a freedom fighter in Nigeria, had been assassinated years earlier. AJ+ followed her journey.
