as posted by the channelAn anti-gentrification protest In London turned violent when demonstrators tried to break into a police station. Officers responded with tear gas. Around 1,000 people took part in the march in the south London suburb of Brixton, angry at rising house prices and evictions. Most of the day was peaceful, but a handful of protestors smashed the windows of a real estate agency, and stormed the town hall.
