as posted by the channelWatch More Direct From With Dena Takruri
AJ+'s Dena Takruri takes you inside the #NoDAPL resistance camp in Cannon Ball, North Dakota, where water protectors are fighting to stop the Dakota Access pipeline, a controversial $3.8 billion, 1,172-mile oil pipeline project that's nearly complete despite massive opposition from the largest gathering of tribes in recent history. The Standing Rock Sioux Tribe says the pipeline threatens its main source of drinking water and cuts through its sacred and burial sites.
