as posted by the channel

A Pennsylvania family is trying to stop one of the biggest pipeline operators from taking three acres of their land.

The Gerhart family has lived on their Huntingdon County property for 35 years. Sunoco Logistics wants three acres of their land to construct its Mariner East 2 pipeline, which will transport natural gas liquids from Ohio to a refinery near Philadelphia. Sunoco is using eminent domain to seize the land and, so far, Pennsylvania courts have sided with the company. Now, in order to stop it, the Gerharts have taken their protest 50 feet in the air.

Sunoco Logistics merged with Energy Transfer Partners in November 2016. Energy Transfer Partners is the same company behind the controversial Dakota Access pipeline.
