Iran has been through a tumultuous couple of decades. The country has managed to survive despite more than 40 years of U.S. sanctions and the devastating Iran-Iraq war. When the 2015 nuclear agreement was signed, things seemed to be getting better. But it all fell apart after Pres. Trump pulled the U.S. out of the deal.
We're going to look at what made Iran what it is today — from the CIA's coup to the Islamic Revolution. And, even more importantly, we ask the question: What does Iran want?
