Afraid to cough on the subway, denied an Uber ride, and being asked for a mask at a hospital because there’s “just so many Chinese people here.” These are just some of the experiences Chinese-Canadians have faced as Coronavirus spreads across the globe.

Nearly 2,800 people worldwide have died of Coronavirus that originated in Hubei, China. But as fears of the virus grow, Chinese and Asian communities around the world are reporting incidents of racism and xenophobia.
