But in a country with 27 million people without health insurance, uninsured Americans might not go to the doctor if they can’t afford it. That can make the virus spread faster, and the CDC is already warning that there may be some major disruptions to daily life.
On the economic side, imports from China might go down as large parts of that country are still locked down. And if the disease turns into a major outbreak in the United States, how will that impact the 2020 election?
