In the video, Officer Eugene Goodman is seen facing an angry group of at least five people with Confederate flags and Nazi symbols who breached the Capitol on Jan. 6.
People online are saying Goodman deserves a medal for his bravery, when the Capitol Police leadership failed to secure the building. Capitol Police turned down offers for added support from the National Guard in the days leading up to the siege.
