New Mexico county commissioner Couy Griffin boldly said he’s going to attend the ceremony with his firearms.Griffin also participated in the January 6 Capitol riots. He was arrested in Washington, DC on January 17, days before the inauguration, for taking part in the riot.
Several other elected officials have been arrested or called out for encouraging violence at the Capitol riots.
