Afghan fighter Javid Basharat told his followers not to “stoop to [his opponent’s] level” after the comment was caught on camera, promising to lay it all out in the UFC octagon.
Basharat won the fight by choking Israeli opponent Oron Kahlon into submission in the third round. Basharat won a UFC contract following the fight. Some called on the UFC to reprimand the hate speech taking place on their screens, but UFC President Dana White said there is no line to be crossed when it comes to trash talk.
