They are honest. They just want to live a good life just like anybody else - but I love the style in which we do it.”
Stretching across The Bronx and Queens, NY-14 is one of the most diverse districts in the country. Nearly half of our neighbors are immigrants, with more than 200 languages spoken. The District also has a long history of community organizing and innovation. Today, in Queens, the Night Market provides a space for many of our small businesses to flourish, while bringing neighbors together over food, music and dancing. The Bronx is home to Co-Op City, the largest housing cooperative in the world, where access to affordable home ownership has fostered a long standing community culture. Everyday people live in The Bronx and Queens and they are working together for a better shared future.
