Coach Kennedy has been locked in an eight-year legal battle with his former employer, Bremerton School District, after the district took issue with Kennedy's tradition of saying a silent prayer after football games. Despite Kennedy trying his best to work with the school district officials and find a way to compromise, they were insistent that any prayer he does must be completely out of sight, and now the case will be heard before the Supreme Court. Obviously, the case is ridiculous, as Kennedy has a First Amendment right to express his religious beliefs. But Jeremy Dys points out that this case could have dire implications for the right of free speech in America, as the leftist activists in the school system and justice system who stand against Coach Kennedy vehemently want to push any expression of Christianity out of public sight.
