as posted by the channel

The anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing is July 20th, 2019, and to celebrate we uncovered stories about how Arizona contributed to this historic mission. The Cinder Lake Crater Field in Flagstaff, Arizona is an amazing landmark in our space travel history. From exploding 47 artificial craters to training astronauts, we dive into why NASA used Cinder Lake in the late 1960's to build a model atlas of the moon. Enjoy!
