Despite the intention being to decrease harm, many were offended by inclusion of words like "American" and "fireman" on the list. In this episode of America Uncovered (in case you're wondering, we're not going to change our name to "United States Uncovered") we look at some of terms on Stanford's offensive language list, the blowback Standford received for the list, and how it responded.
