From Brazil to Guatemala, new risks have emerged—including as judicial overreach and political resistance—with critical implications for the rule of law, democracy, and the economy.
What are the new trends in Latin America’s fight against corruption? Is the region going through a long-term change or will the anti-corruption wave recede?
To address these questions and more, we will convene an expert panel to present the new Capacity to Combat Corruption (CCC) Index, developed by AS/COA and the risk consultancy Control Risks. Also, we will launch the latest issue of Americas Quarterly, dedicated to the new phase in Latin America’s anti-corruption push.
