4:27:51Now PlayingOn Mar. 20, the Senate will begin three days of confirmation hearings for Judge Neil Gorsuch, President Donald Trump’s Supreme Court nominee.
The high-profile fight over Gorsuch, 49, comes one year after Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) and Senate Republicans refused to vote on President Barack Obama’s nominee to fill the vacancy on the court. The seat was held by Justice Antonin Scalia, who died in February of 2016. Gorsuch -- who has flown under the radar since his nomination in January --is a federal appellate judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.
