Doug Collins, the ranking member of the House Judiciary Committee, pressed former special counsel Robert Mueller during his congressional testimony on whether “collusion” is similar to “conspiracy.” “Are collusion and conspiracy essentially synonymous terms?” Collins, D-Ga., asked Mueller. Mueller first said “no” but then said he would stick with his report, which stated the two terms were “largely synonymous.” President Donald Trump has claimed that the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 found “no collusion.” Mueller avoided using that term in his report.
